Windows 10 Review: The Best Features of Windows 10, Introducing a Better Windows 8, while Bringing Back the Familiar Windows 7
Windows users are happy to know that the Start menu is back for Windows 10. Actually, this time, it's made even better; Windows 10 Start menu has combined the Start menu features of Windows 7 and 8.
Windows 10 also comes with "multiple virtual desktops". This one will help you organize your desktop, as if owning a bigger monitor, and allowing you to maximize your desktop space.
Windows 10 also comes with a Task view feature, allowing you to see all your open desktops so that you can view the desktop of your choice. I'm sure many of you are familiar with this feature since other operating systems like Linux and OS X have this feature already, and it's pretty neat.
Windows 10 now allows you to open four apps and fill your screen in four quadrants instead of the previous half-screen type, as you saw in Windows 8. This allows for a more efficient desktop use, minimizing your time and hassle in moving and resizing the apps around your desktop.
There's also the new feature on the taskbar. If you check it out, you'll see a new button on the taskbar that allows you to see your recent searches and suggestions from Bing. It can also be used to locate your own desktop file, and not just from the Internet. This simply makes your searching function more convenient.
Meanwhile, some of the previous Windows 8 features remain in the new Windows 10. For example, the tile-based Modern UI apps from the previous Windows 8 are still in the recent Windows, and some of these are actually pretty good ones.
