'Motorola Droid Turbo' To Compete With Nexus 6
The Motorola Droid is on its way to compete with the Nexus 6, packed with cool features and backed-up with amazing specs. The Motorola and Verizon announced the Droid Turbo release date of Oct. 28.
There are rumors around that its packed with cool and awesome features and specs that are literally aiming to destroy and compete with the upcoming Google's Nexus 6. Here are some bits of the rumoured features and specs of the new Motorola Droid Turbo.
According to Android Central, the new "Motorola Droid Turbo" will be packed with a Snapdragon 805 processor clocking at 2.7GHz with a 32GB internal storage accompanied with a 3GB RAM and a screen resolution of 1440x2560pixels and the pixel density is of 565ppi. The phone will support a 5.2inch display panel made from Corning gorilla Glass 3 coated with a metalized glass fiber. Owner's of the Droid turbo will not have to worry in case they end up dropping their device by mistake, cool!
It's also said that the Droid Turbo is water resistant, in any case it ends up meeting any unwanted liquid, it will be protected. On the other hand, it's not fully water resistant, so do not try giving it a swim or it is likely not going to "survive" even for a few seconds, so take care of your device. The feature of water resistance is not that strong, but at least now the droid turbo owners will not have to worry of any liquid spills done by accident on the devices.
It is also expected to come with one of the most unique features from Motorola, the Motorola applications- the DROID voice command, which can be kept on 24 x 7, this feature was introduced in the Moto X series last year. In the retail package you will also get the Turbo Charger that will provide you an amazing 8 hours of energy only within 15 minutes of charging.
As for the networking, according to Phone Arena, the Turbo is going to support the Verizon's 4G LTE/XLTE network and is expected to be updated and take advantage of the carrier's VoLTE implementation of Big Red's Wireless Calling 1.0 within 30 to 90 days of its launch. And as for the software, Motorola is ups again. Not sure though, but looks like the device is going to run on the new Android 4.4 KitKat OS, though at the moment, no OS version has been specified in the materials so far.
In addition to the Moto X features: Moto Voice, Moto Assist, Moto Actions and Moto Display, the Droid Turbo is going to sport new droid-specific "Zap" features as well. The "Zap Zone" will allow the Droid Turbo owners to set their very own local sharing groups and be able to share pictures with a click of the finger. The Zap to TV will use your Chromecast for setting up an instant slideshow for your photos. While the "Zap with voice" feature will let you share your screenshots onto your Zap Zone by just saying "OK Droid Turbo, Zap my screen."
That's a one cool phone right. We don't have to wait any longer. Everyone now has the chance to get this latest phone of Motorola this October 2014.
