Hannibal Season 3 Spoilers and Alerts: Tao Okamoto to play Lady Murasaki, a Mysterious Japanese Aunt of Hannibal; Plus Season 3 Episodes will be Named after Italian Cuisines

Hannibal Season 3 will soon start production and fans are in for a lot of surprises, especially the Hannibal Season 3 cast.

It was announced recently that Tao Okamoto from The Wolverine and Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, has been casted to play Lady Murasaki. She is Hannibal's mysterious Japanese aunt, according to We Got this Covered. Okamoto's character had been described in the Deadline's site as: "Okamoto will play the dark and mysterious Lady Murasaki, who possesses an alluring and classical beauty with a dark secret."

The series has since deviated from the books itself, but Bryan Fuller, the show's creator,  said that they got some story snippets from Hannibal and The Silence of the Lambs, for the past two seasons, and now will dwell on the prequel novel Hannibal Rising.

The complicated relationship between Aunt and Nephew is one of the highlights of the story that could tackle psychological implications on Hannibal. The relationship can be a little dark and twisted and at some point, romantic.

Hannibal season 3 cast includes Hugh Dancy as Will Graham, Mads Mikkelsen as Dr. Hannibal Lecter, Gillian Anderson, who was a recurring character for seasons 1 and 2, but will become a regular character by season 3 as she plays Dr. Bedelia Du Maurier. Other notable characters are Caroline Dhavernas as Dr. Alana Bloom and Laurence Fishburne as Jack Crawford. Fishburne, on the other hand had been a regular to a recurring cast this Season 3.

Also, season three episodes will be named after Italian cuisines.
