New Dell Venue 7, Venue 8: Details You Need to Know
Today, everyone is wanted to have the best tablet that they can have, but most of it, let's admit it, we cannot afford to buy. Now, Dell is introducing their 1080p 8-inch Venue tablet and also the red version of their smaller 7-inch Venue, in their lowest price ever.
Dell released the details of their tablets. Both Venue tablets will get you 16GB of storage with a microSD slot. Both tablets are also using Android 4.4 KitKat, 802.11ac WiFi with Bluetooth 4.0. Both tablets also have 5MP rear shooter camera and measures 0.35-inches thick only. So whichever tablet you choose, you get an upgraded, up-to-date gadget.
Now, let's get to some details for each tablet. The Dell Venue 8 has a bright 8-inch 1920x1200 IPS display giving you an extra screen space and a lot of extra pixels compared to your typical 7-inchers. Dell Venue 8 is powered by a dual-core Atom Z3480 chip, weighs about 0.74lbs only, has a high resolution 2MP front camera, and comes in a black color body.
On the other hand, the Dell Venue 7 is packed with a smaller and lower-res 7-inch 1280×800 IPS display. It also comes with an Atom Z3460 processor, little bit lower than the Venue 8, and a 1MP front camera. It's slightly lighter at just 0.64lbs, comes in a bolder red color, and of course, is notably less expensive. Also, according to Dell, both tablets share a one year warranty.
How about the prices? Well, the new Venue 7 3000 Series price starting at $ 149.99, new Venue 8 3000 Series price starting at $ 199.99 and the Venue 8 Pro 5000 Series starting at $ 249.99.
Here are the Pros and Cons; the pros, both tablets are reasonably priced, solid construction, and have good displays. And the Cons, they said the Intel Atom processor creates some problems out of the box and the Google Chrome browser exhibits strange graphical flashing, according to ZDNet.
In buying one this tablets, make that the one you will buy will suit your needs of course. Although there are some little stutters when it comes to its performance, it's not really a big deal at all. Both tablets are still useful in their own ways.
