'Scandal' Season 4, Episode 4 Recap and Review
ABC's hit drama series, "Scandal" is back. Now, it is on its fourth season and the drama created by Shonda Rhimes proves to be worth watching. The plot has become more complex with unexpected twists that added to the drama.
On "Scandal" season 4, the president's daughter Karen may be the last person "Scandal" viewers expect to be Olivia's client, as Liberty Voice noted.
At the onset of the drama series, we see Olivia and Jake dining together in Olivia's home, then suddenly she gets a phone call. Olivia's dinner plans were cancelled and she heads to Quinn's for a wild party. She checks on every bedroom and found a very drunk and high Karen. She tries her best to shield Karen from being threatened by any form of public scandal. While escaping, Olivia manages to secure a chopper and sneaks out to an exit without being noticed by many. She also asks for the assistance of Huck in hacking and jamming all the mobile phone services in the area, to make sure that there will be no evidence of Karen being in the party. However, as she was arranging the chopper for them to escape, Liv has a shocking discovery of Karen's sex tape with two boys.
The Karen incident was also highlighted in the Flavor Wire's entertainment report for the week, explaining how the president can be blackmailed and possibly involved in a very nasty scandalous affair because of her daughter's misdeeds.
So OPA finds a way to track down the boys that are in the sex tape, but one group of parents are making it difficult for them. What surprised Olivia the most was that the parents of one of the boys who were involved in the sex tape blackmailed her and the president. The settlement that they want is $2.5 million. Since Fitz can do nothing at the moment, he agreed to the settlement. However, the parents wanted more money. This made Liv quite mad and it made her lash out verbally to the blackmailers. Liv then managed to have the parents sign a non-disclosure agreement.
