The City Harmonic Nominated for 2014 Juno Award for Acclaimed Album "Heart"

The City Harmonic was honored this week with a 2014 JUNO Award nomination for their new, critically acclaimed album, Heart. The album is nominated for Contemporary Christian/Gospel Album of the Year and follows the band's JUNO win in that same category last year for their full-length debut, I Have A Dream (It Feels Like Home).
The new JUNO nomination, presented by the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, is the latest in a long line of honors that includes the band's Dove Award nomination for New Artist of the Year and four Covenant Awards, including one for Group of the Year. Forming four years ago in their hometown of Hamilton, Ontario, The City Harmonic quickly went from anonymity to widespread acclaim, leading worship and headlining tours across North America while gathering fans from around the world thanks in part to radio hits like "Manifesto," "Holy (Wedding Day)" and "A City On Hill."
Co-produced by the band (vocalist and pianist Elias Dummer, bassist Eric Fusilier, guitarist Aaron Powell and drummer Josh Vanderlaan) along with Jared Fox, the JUNO-nominated HEART delves into themes of grace, discipleship and being, and becoming, truly human. The band has been sharing songs from Heart while on tour, including their recent fall tour with The Royal Royal and Shawn McDonald, as well as TV appearances for the 2013 Covenant Awards and a Crossroads/CTS special. The band launches into 2014 with new concerts throughout the winter and spring, including six U.S. events with Acquire The Fire beginning Feb 8.
In time for the winter-spring tour, iTunes is featuring The City Harmonic's digital deluxe version of Heart, including bonus video content, for only $7.99 throughout the month of February.
