Brad Pitt Getting Punched in the Face on 'Fury' Movie Set by Co-Star? Read More Here
There are some entertaining stories coming to light from the set of the top movie in the country, Fury, starring Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf and more.
One of the co-stars, Logan Lerman shared with MTV about fighting with Brad Pitt between scenes.
"One of the main things that we did every day that was a part of the director's process was fought each other. We sparred together." Logan continued, "We just fought openly. That really broke barriers surprisingly. Once you're able to hit somebody and start punching them in the face, you can go anywhere with them physically in a scene." He added, "Brad's a tough guy - you know - to punch. He's quick. He's got those moves."
The new American action-drama war movie brought in almost $25 million through the full weekend to top the box office through Sunday.
The movie is based at the end of World War II and co-stars Pitt, Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, Jon Bernthal, Michael Pena, Jason Isaacs and Scott Eastwood. They have released the first featurette for the movie showing behind the scenes and the first look at the new film which is set to be released to theaters on November 14. You can watch the one and a half minute clip above.
Plot: The film is set during the last months of World War II in April 1945. As the Allies make their final push in the European Theater, a battle-hardened U.S. Army sergeant named Wardaddy (Brad Pitt) commands a Sherman tank called "Fury" and its five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Outnumbered and outgunned, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany.
Fury is directed and written by David Ayer. Shooting for the film began on September 30, 2013, in the Oxfordshire countryside. The Pinewood Studios sent warning letters to the villagers of Shirburn, Pyrton and Watlington that there would be some gunfire and explosions during the filming of Fury. The film will feature the last surviving operational Tiger I. The vehicle, known as Tiger 131, belongs to Bovington Tank Museum. It's the first time a real Tiger tank - and not a prop version - has been used on a film set.
