Apple iPod Touch 6th Generation vs 5th: Is It the Right Time to Buy?
There is no doubt that iPhones are an expensive piece of technology that not everyone wants to afford. Students and travelers rather look for better alternatives that can offer most advantages of Apple innovations without burning a hole in their pockets, and that's precisely where iPod is such an important gadget. For over a decade, these little musical instruments have entertained millions across the world and continue to do so.
Holiday season is not far away and everyone's busy looking for gifts for family and for themselves. iPod Touch 5th Gen is an amazing choice given the brilliant colors and laser engraving available with it, but some people are still hesitant if it is the right time to buy. Should you better wait for a month and get the new iPod Touch 6?
Though most technology websites including Breathe Cast and Mac Rumors has assumed that Apple will be coming up with a new iPod model in October this year, it seems unlikely after we are soon getting to the final week of this month. But more importantly, there is no scheduled event till the end of this year, wiping almost all speculations of a release this year. Of course, if you are planning to get an iPod Touch, 5th Generation will be a better choice rather than waiting for a release date that can be months from now.
Quite obviously, Apple will make some changes in the technology and is expected to add a news processor, change display size, increase storage space, and improve camera power according to Trusted Reviews, there is much uncertainty over release. Even if you assume that this device will be launched earlier in 2015, then also price will be higher.
On the other hand, iPod Touch 5 offers a beautiful design, 4-inch Retina Display, iSight Camera, dual-core A5 processor, big storage space, and radio for complete entertainment. It is available in five amazing colors. In fact, when by the time you want to change the iPod by later next year, price for Touch 6 will also drop down and you can get exchange discount on it too.
