'Scandal' Season 4 Episode 5 Spoilers, Latest News, Updates: Is Rowan Pope 'the Key'?
More scandals coming your way! In "Scandal "episode 5 "The Key", Crisis Manager Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) and her team will have to solve another Grant crisis - a sex video involving the first daughter. Will they pull it off?
With the sudden disappearance of her boyfriend Navy Captain Jake Ballard (Scott Foley), solving a delicate scenario like a sex scandal might be difficult even for the best 'fixer' of Washington DC. Is Jake avoiding her or is it something worse? TVFanatics showed a rare sweet scene of Olivia and her father, Former Director of B613 Rowan Pope (Joe Morton) having a rare personal father-daughter conversation. Olivia blurts out her feelings about Jake while Rowan simply warns her about the 'likes' of the man. Is he really a concerned father or just hiding something?
Things changed when Olivia found out that Jake is not really avoiding her, but that he is missing. Confused and scared she confronts the person who might be the mastermind - her own father.
Meanwhile, US President Fitz Grant (Tony Goldwyn) gets all wrapped up with the 'green-eyed monster' after finding out the Olivia- Jake affair. Besides that, Fitz also tries hard to find out who really killed his son Jerry. Will he ever know the truth?
White House Chief of Staff Cyrus Beene (Jeff Perry),on the other hand, gets more involved with Michael (Matthew del Negro) forgetting his husband James; only David Rosen (Joshua Malina) would be in' heaven' in the fifth episode of "Scandal". Winning the race and becoming the US Attorney General made his dream come true. Will the dream last even without the B613 files or will another scandal come up and crash the dream to oblivion?
Other stars of "Scandal" are Darby Stanchfield as White House Press Secretary Abby Whelan; Guillermo Diaz as a computer hacker; Bellamy Young as First Lady Mellie; Katie Lowes as Quinn Perkins and Brian Letscher as Tom Larsen, a B613 agent responsible for the death of Jerry, the President's son.
According to Cartermatt, "Scandal" TV series season four is sizzling just great with all their interesting encounters and putting Fitz and Olivia together in a lot of scenes could actually start the 'actual fireworks'.
Chris Van Dusen wrote the latest episode of Scandal under the directorship of Oliver Bokelberg. "Scandal" Season four 'The Key' episode airs October 23, 2014.
