The Isaacs Will Perform at the Next "Opry Goes Pink" in an Effort to Fight Breast Cancer
The Isaacs will join other great artists on The Grand Ole Opry® stage for the sixth annual "Opry Goes Pink Show" in the fight against breast cancer on Tuesday, October 28.The Isaacs are joining The Grand Ole Opry® and Women Rock For The CureTM in the fight against breast cancer.
The Isaacs are a family group comprising of mother Lily Isaacs, and siblings Ben Isaacs, Sonya Isaacs Yeary and Rebecca Isaacs Bowman. Playing their own acoustic instruments and joined by other band members, The Isaacs have a unique style that blends tight, family harmony with contemporary acoustic instrumentation that appeals to a variety of audiences. Their musical style has been influenced by many genres of music including bluegrass, rhythm and blues, folk, and country, contemporary, acoustic and southern gospel
Lily Isaccs hersellf is a 30 year breast cancer survivor. She was the inspiration behind the hit country song "I'm Gonna Love You Through It," co written by Sonya and Jimmy Yeary, recorded by Martina McBride. Lily's testimony has been an inspiration to people around the world, so much that she has written an autobiography about her life's story.
The special show will also include Opry members Terri Clark and Montgomery Gentry with special guests Danielle Bradbery, Sara Evans and Nashville's Will Chase.
When fans order tickets to the night's 7 p.m. show, $5 from every ticket sold will be donated to Women Rock For The CureTM. Tickets are available at (615) 871-OPRY and opry.com.
