Batman Arkham Knight Reveals and Updates: Superman Appearance Confirmed and Arkham Knight Identity Hinted as James Horan Revealed to be the Character's Voice
Even though Rocksteady's upcoming Batman Arkham Knight will see the release on June 2, 2015, the fans of the action adventure video game are still looking for whatever news they can find concerning the title. Good news, there is some information available for the installment thus far. Apparently the Man of Steel is set to make an appearance on the game, meaning Superman is confirmed! There are also speculations as to the identity of the Arkham Knight. It is not yet a sure thing, but the logic behind the supposition is sound. The speculation there would be a small reference to Superman in Batman: Arkham Knight via radio reports implies his exploits in Metropolis.
This news confirms that Batman: Arkham Knight appearance is going to happen. We just hope Rocksteady is going to make him playable in challenge modes and everything else so to speak. The other reveals is that James Horan is the voice actor or the Arkham Knight and while he did portray the various henchmen within the game, there is a character that he consistently voiced within the franchise and that is Jack Ryder. The role is a reporter that somehow manages to always get himself in trouble and rely on Batman to save him.
In this case, we have to wonder whether if the voice of Jack and the Knight are the same then, was the reporter-in-distress role an act? That could mean that he is the Arkham Knight, we have to keep in mind that the role of Batman is played by Bruce Wayne and his real life personality is just his mask. Following that reasoning, it could be that Jack Ryder as the reporter was just him in the mask situation and the Arkham Knight was his coming out to the world and exposing his true nature. There has been a lot of speculation about the identity of the Arkham Knight including the theory that he is an android, or even the Joker come back for revenge, but this is the most convincing so far.
