Mortal Kombat X Characters, Release Date And Latest Reveals: Quan-Chi, The Dark Sorcerer, Confirmed To Be Returning In Mortal Kombat X As Hinted By Ed Boon In A Tweet
We have the latest for you on the characters, release date and latest reveals of Mortal Kombat X. The fans of Mortal Kombat X have been eagerly waiting for the releases of the tenth title of the game. The Mortal Kombat X game is set for release in 2015.
According to Christian Post, the game, just like its predecessors is a fighting game where two players face off against each other and fight using special moves and attacks. However, the thing that will make the game unique this time is that each of the players will have access to three combat variations. This feature was revealed by NetherRealm Studios head Ed Boon during Sony's E3 2014 Media Briefing. It was also confirmed that the upcoming Mortal Kombat game would start at the place where the previous game ended at and it will eventually transition to 25 years into the future which will feature aged classic characters, new characters and children of the previous fighters.
Some of the classic characters who will be featuring in the upcoming game include Sub Zero, Scorpion, Raiden, Kano, Goro and Quan-chi. Boon also revealed that the main antagonist in the game will be a surprise returning character. Some of the new characters in the upcoming game include D'Vorah who is described as an insect-like woman who is able to control insects, Cassie Cage who is the daughter of Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade and she has borrowed some of her fighting abilities from both her parents. Another new character in the game is Ferra/Torr, a pair of fighters consisting of a giant masked man and a dwarf woman in full armor. The other new character in the game is Kotal Khan who is describes as an "Aztec-inspired blood god," and is rumored to be in connection with Shao Khan.
Meanwhile, Ed Boon has tweeted an image teasing the additional characters in the game. It confirmed that Quan-chi is an addition in the roster. The dark sorcerer's return was established last week. "Mortal Kombat X" is scheduled for release on the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC on 14th April 2015. Are you excited about the new game? Stay with us for more news on this and much more.
