'Paddington' Movie Release Date Starring Colin Firth & Nicole Kidman, Watch New Promo Trailer Here (VIDEO)
The upcoming movie Paddington has released their latest international movie trailer that gives a little better explanation about what the film will actually be about. Up to this point, the trailers have just shown that Paddington struggles using the bathroom and can be clumsy.
The new trailer, which you can check out above sheds some more light on the actual plot of the movie.
Michael Bond's famous books about Paddington bear are being retold in a movie set to release this Christmas. The polite young bear with an streak of chaos is back and you can check out the first trailer they have released for the movie above. It's the first look at the bear's expressive animation, which gives him a more realistic, grizzly exterior. Pattington accidentally trashes a bathroom, tries to use a toothbrush and eats his own ear wax in the new trailer for Paddington.
Paddington stars Colin Firth as the voice of the lovable bear. The film also stars Nicole Kidman as Millicent, Hugh Bonneville as Mr. Brown, Sally Hawkins as Mrs. Brown, Julie Walters as Mrs. Bird, Jim Broadbent as Mr. Gruber, Peter Capaldi as Mr. Curry, Madeleine Harris as Judy Brown, Samuel Joslin as Jonathan Brown and Tim Downie as Montgomery Clyde.
The film is directed by Paul King and produced by David Heyman. It has a release date of November 28, 2014 in the U.K, and Christmas Day, December 25, 2014 in North America.
The film was first announced in 2007 with David Heyman producing and Hamish McColl writing the screenplay. No further development was made until 2013, when filming began and Heyman announced the casting of Colin Firth as Paddington. Filming began in London in November 2013.
Paddington had teased a Christmas Day 2014 release date, but will now officially release to theaters in the U.S. on January 16, 2015.
