Supergirl TV Series Air Date, Spoilers, News, Rumors and more: Casting begins in search of the perfect Supergirl
CBS Supergirl TV show is now on the move. The aim of the studio is to take an angle of both feminism and sexism to which the concept of the show had been introduced. Supergirl TV series is their medium in discussing both and hopefully influence people on what is right. At present, they are searching for the perfect girl to play the part.
According to Franchise Herald, CBS is very much confident with Supergirl TV show that they had committed to airing and even bypassed the stages of 'pilot' and 'in development' stages. This is great news for those looking forward for female superhero action, after multiple rumors of the show not pushing through. It will be a one hour per episode drama to be written by the skillful hands of Greg Berlanti and Ali Adler who were the writers for 'Chuck'and 'No Ordinary Family'
So who is Supergirl?
The drama is about the story of Kara Zor-El, a cousin of Superman. She was born on Krypton who ended up on Earth, who just like her cousin, spent many years trying to hide her powers. It was when she was twenty-four that she decided to let loose and embrace her superpowers and become the superhero that she is. She could very much be the role model of many girls out there, and thus the challenge to get it right goes outright to the studio.
As for who will be playing the role, some of the potential actresses are Ashley Hinshaw, Lyndsy Fonseca, Britt Robertson, and Leven Rambin. We still have to wait for the official announcement though as to who will Supergirl's mortal counterpart be.
Catch Supergirl TV series on CBS soon.
