Creed's Scott Stapp Broke & Has Been Living in His Truck

Scott Stapp, the lead singer of rock group Creed, is broke. As a group, Creed has sold over 28 million records in the United States, and over 40 million albums worldwide. They became the ninth best-selling artist of the 2000s. Last year, Stapp released his Christian album "Proof of Life," which featured the song "Slow Suicde."
Now, apparently, Stapp is broke and has been spending time living in his truck. Stapp says his current problems began eight weeks ago when he discovered a large amount of money missing from his accounts.
"I'm under some kind of pretty vicious attack," he explains. "There are people who have taken advantage and stolen money from me, and they're trying to discredit me, slander me ... Someone had used my information and changed my online passwords to my bank accounts and transferred all the money out of my bank accounts so I had nothing."
He also claims that the IRS has frozen his accounts, and the issue won't be cleared up anytime soon. Because of this, Stapp says he's living in a hotel after weeks of sleeping in his truck. "I'm gonna fight every single individual that is responsible for this. Right now I'm looking for an honest, good attorney that's ready to fight and take it all the way to the top."
He has uploaded a nearly 16-minute video, titled "Public Statement #1," to Facebook in an attempt, he says, to clear up some rumors about his life. He says he isn't on drugs and has been getting tested weekly as proof.
