Little Texas' Tim Rushlow Goes Big Band with "Classic Christmas"

Tim Rushlow, the frontman of 90s country group Little Texas, has re-emerged as a big band artist with the release of his brand new Christmas album "A Classic Christmas." Gone are the rustic sounds and now in is the lush sound of a gorgeous orchestra guided Christmas project.
Rushlow had this to say " I have always had such great appreciation and love for Christmas music but stayed away from recording a Holiday record because I did not want to step on all the classics I have come to love over the years. I have always said I would only record a Christmas project if I could do it right and have an entire big band orchestra and take people back to when it was truly classic."
" I cannot believe that we are actually going back in time with 20 horn players, 36 string players and an amazing rhythm section to create this project". Tim has also hinted that there are some very special guests that are on the schedule to appear on this historic record project. You can look for this record wherever music is sold this fall as the holiday season approaches.
Rushlow has also announced that this is not a "one off" record but the start of many! He will head back into the studio to record his Classics record which will pay tribute to all the great big band singers like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Bobby Darin to name a few. Rushlow will then head out late in Spring of 2015 with his big band orchestra to play performing arts centers across the US.
Signed to Warner Bros. Records in 1991, Little Texas released its debut album "First Time For Everything" that year. The album's lead off single, "Some Guys Have All the Love", reached a peak of No. 8 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts. Little Texas continued to produce hit singles throughout the mid-1990s, including the Number One single "My Love" and six more top ten hits. Their debut album earned a gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), while 1993's Big Time was certified double platinum and 1994's Kick a Little was certified platinum.
Brady Seals, the frontman then, departed in late 1994 for a solo career, with Jeff Huskins succeeding him on keyboards. After a gold-certified "Greatest Hits" package and an unsuccessful self-titled fourth studio album, the group disbanded in 1997 and Rushlow also became a solo singer.
By 2004, the four remaining original members - Gray, Howell, O'Brien, and Propes, along with new lead vocalist Steven Troy - re-established the group, although Howell took over on lead vocals after Troy's departure. Under the four-piece lineup of Gray, Howell, O'Brien, and Propes, the band has recorded two albums for Montage Music Group: "The Very Best of Little Texas: Live" and Loud" and Missing Years."
