Building 429 Celebrates "Where I Belong" Selling More Than One Million Copies

Building 429's single "Where I Belong" has received a one-million single sales mark. A special plaque presentation was held at with Provident Label Group in honor of the group's incredible achievement. Building 429 has achieved landmark radio success, including the history making single, "Where I Belong."
Provident Label Group's Senior Vice President, Dean Diehl praised the group for its music ministry and accomplishments."Building 429 has an uncanny ability to identify big ideas that connect with our core market at a deep level," states Diehl. "Great songs are the lifeblood of any artist's career and as we celebrate what the group's past hits have done, all I can say is, wait until you hear what's next!"
The band's current project, We Won't Be Shaken, generated their most recent chart-topping single with the title track, which was nominated for a Billboard 2014 Music Award for Top Christian Song. "Where I Belong," from the album Listen to the Sound, remained No. 1 on Billboard's Christian Audience chart for 15 consecutive weeks, and was named Billboard's 2012 Christian Song of the Year, Christian AC Song of the Year, Christian Songs Artist of the Year and Christian AC Songs Artist of the Year. Building 429's first No. 1 single was "Glory Defined," which became BMI's Christian Song of the Year in 2005. "Where I Belong" shared the same BMI honor in 2013.
Besides delivering hit-making music, Building 429 is also known for its energetic and powerful stage performances, which will be featured on their upcoming six-city headlining tour. The spring tour launches May 7 in Fort Meyers, FL and welcomes featured guest artists, Blanca and Rapture Ruckus. It's going to be a busy summer and fall for Building 429 as they'll be hitting the fair and festival circuit with appearances that include Wonderjam with Skillet and Jeremy Camp, KingsFest and Freedom Fest in June, along with the farewell Women Of Faith Loved Tour that will run through December. In between tour dates,Building 429 is recording their ninth studio album that will feature all new songs and is scheduled to be released this fall.
