"Pray Now" is not just the titular of Karen Peck and New River's new Daywind Records album. It's also a call that the Southern Gospel group is issuing to all fans. In honor of the National Day of Prayer on May 7th, Karen Peck & New River announce an opportunity for fans across the world to band together in prayer.
During the upcoming week, the group invites you to post prayer requests on their social media pages. Then, on Thursday evening at 6:30 pm cst, Karen will host a time of prayer to lift up the requests, as well as pray for America and other current events.
"We are in need of prayer now more than ever, not only as a nation, but in each of our lives personally. Everybody has something going on in their lives, big or small, that impacts them and as believers we need to join together and lift up one another," shares Karen Peck Gooch. "We have been flooded with prayer, love and encouragement with Rickey's recent cancer diagnosis and treatments and we look forward to the opportunity to pray for all those who have been so kind and gracious in our time of need."
