'Maleficent' 2014 Disney Trailer New Starring Angelina Jolie & Elle Fanning, Watch Full Here (VIDEO)
Maleficent has just released their longest trailer to date and their third in total for the highly anticipated Summer 2014 movie. The two plus minute clips shows Maleficent (Angelina Jolie) placing a curse on baby Aurora that one her 16th birthday, she will "fall into a sleep-like death." It then fast-forwards to the two meeting in a forest, as Maleficent talks about the "evil, hatred, and revenge" in this world. Aurora (Elle Fanning) then asks her, crying, "Is it true? Are you Maleficent?"
Maleficent is a new 'dark' fantasy film releasing releasing on May 30, 2014 starring Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning and directed by Robert Stromberg. Angelina Jolie plays Maleficent and Elle Fanning as Aurora(Sleeping Beauty) in a new look on a Disney classic (watch official trailer below).
Official Plot: "Maleficent is the untold story of Disney's most iconic villain from the 1959 classic Sleeping Beauty. A beautiful, pure-hearted young woman, Maleficent has an idyllic life growing up in a peaceable forest kingdom, until one day when an invading army threatens the harmony of the land. Maleficent rises to be the land's fiercest protector, but she ultimately suffers a ruthless betrayal - an act that begins to turn her pure heart to stone. Bent on revenge, Maleficent faces an epic battle with the invading king's successor and, as a result, places a curse upon his newborn infant Aurora. As the child grows, Maleficent realizes that Aurora holds the key to peace in the kingdom - and perhaps to Maleficent's true happiness as well."
Maleficent also stars Sharito Copley, Brenton Thwaites, Juno Temple, Sam Riley, Miranda Richardson, Imelda Staunton and others. The film is written by Paul Dini and Linda Woolverton and produced by Don Hahn and Joe Roth. The film had a budget of $200 million under Walt Disney Studios and Motion Pictures.
Maleficent is set to release to theaters and IMAX in the U.S. on May 30, 2014. Will you head to the theaters to catch it?
