Amy Grant To Appear On OWN’S “Oprah: Where Are They Now?”

Amy Grant is set to be featured on the top-rated "Oprah: Where Are They Now?" airing this Saturday, October 10 at 10 p.m. EST/9 p.m. CST on the OWN Network. The crew caught up with Grant on her farm this summer to talk about her influential career, new album Be Still and Know... Hymns & Faith, family life and unique partnership with Barefoot Republic Camps - a camp for children from kindergarten through sixth grade where they are given the opportunity to go horseback riding, gain wilderness skills, mountain bike, try archery and more. The popular OWN Network show visits with the famous talk show host's favorite guests from "The Oprah Winfrey Show."
Moved by Grant's longtime philanthropic efforts in her hometown of Nashville, Tenn., Junior Achievement of Middle Tennessee will induct Grant into its Phoenix Club of Nashville Business Hall of Fame on October 29. Joining past recipients such as Rob McCabe of Pinnacle Financial Partners and Jack O. Bovender Jr. of the Hospital Corporation of America (HCA), Grant's induction will mark the first time a women has received the Hall of Fame Honors.
Grant's latest album Be Still and Know... Hymns & Faith - a 15 song collection, including two newly-recorded songs produced by husband Vince Gill - garnered a nod in the Inspirational Album of the Year category at upcoming 46th Annual GMA Dove Awards. The project also caught the attention of media such as ABC Radio, Southern Living, Country Weekly, CMT Radio and GAC.
The singer, songwriter will continue to tour stateside for the rest of 2015, including the inaugural Live at the Lake Cultural Series at the Ritz-Carlton Lodge Reynolds Plantation in Georgia and holiday treks co-billed with longtime friend Michael W. Smith. Grant will also return to the famed Ryman Auditorium this December for the popular shows with Gill. For the most up to date tour schedule, visit AmyGrant.com.
