Ten Years Ago Darlene Zschech Released "Change Your World"

Ten years ago, Australian singer, songwriter and worship leader Darlene Zschech released her sophmore solo album Change Your World. As the writer of "Shout to the Lord," Zschech is already prominent among church-goers of the world. She has been known for her work with Hillsong Worship where she served as the megachurch's worship pastor. Zschech has led and fronted worship for countless Hillsong releases where her voice is featured on key cuts such as "Mighty to Save," "Worthy is the Lamb," "Hosanna," "Blessed," "Power of Your Love," "High and Lifted Up," and many others.
Signed with INO Records, Zschech produced Change Your World at her very own studio called The Grove Studios in Australia. The album was co-produced by David Holmes and Andy Sorenson. Many of the songs were co-written with David Holmes, and the album features a new arrangement of Michael W Smith's "Angus Dei".
Change Your World is a worship album but it's different from her Hillsong Live allbums. Besides being recorded in a studio, the songs have a more intimate feel to them. Case in point being "Call Upon His Name," a slower piano-ballad, that is most revealing as far as Zschech's heart for worship is.
