Jimmy Fortune is Bringing Back TV Special "JImmy Fortune: Hits & Hymns”

Statler Brothers member Jimmy Fortune is bringing back the popular TV special that propelled his career to new heights in late 2015. The Bill Gaither hosted"Jimmy Fortune: Hits & Hymns" is set to re-air this weekend on televisions nationwide (see dates/times below). The program propelled Fortune to No. 1 on the Billboard Music Video (DVD) chart, becoming his very first solo project to hit the top on the chart. The TV special was also accompanied by the album, Hits & Hymns, which features collaborations with some of Fortune's closest friends, including Vince Gill, The Oak Ridge Boys, The Isaacs, Dailey & Vincent, Ricky Skaggs and more.

The Country Music Hall of Fame singer has been riding high on the charts with Hits & Hymns, which became Fortune's first solo Top Ten record on the Billboard's Top Country Albums chart following its release. The project has secured Fortune some of the biggest ink of his career, including spreads in NASH Country Weekly, Homecoming Magazine, Billboard and more.
The "Elizabeth" singer will also be hitting the road for a blockbuster 2016 tour. Along the way, fans can catch Fortune performing tracks from Hits & Hymns, along with old Statler Brothers favorites like "More Than a Name on a Wall." With over 4 decades in the music business, the Gospel Music Hall of Fame member delivers a unique and intimate performance that will leave fans wanting more. The tour will also include the 13th annual Jimmy Fortune Country Music Cruisein July, where fans will get an up-close and personal experience, while exploring the beautiful scenery of Alaska.
