Ed Sheeran on SNL April 12 as Musical Guest with Host Seth Rogan, Watch Here (VIDEO)
Actor Seth Rogan is gearing up to host Saturday Night Live on NBC with musical guest Ed Sheeran this Saturday night, April 12, 2014. SNL has released a short promo video teasing the upcoming show (watch above).
Ed Sheeran, 23, has become a household name in the last year, spending most of it touring with Taylor Swift on her RED World Tour and releasing hit songs such as "Lego House" and "The A Team". He also sings on Taylor Swift's song "Everything has Changed" off of her RED album. "The A Team" was nominated for Song of the Year at the 2013 Grammy Awards and he performed the song in duet with Elton John during the ceremony. His new album X is set to release on June 23, 2014.
Sheeran went to twitter today and shared @edsheeran: "playing on Saturday Night Live tonight on NBC, tune in, innit"
Canadian born (Vancouver, British Columbia) Seth Rogan turns 32 on April 15th. This will be Seth's third time hosting Saturday Night Live. He last hosted the show on April 4, 2009, just over five years ago and also hosted an episode in October 2007.
Rogan is best known for his roles as Ben Stone in Knocked UP (2007) starring alongside Katherine Heigl, Dale Denton in Pineapple Express (2008) and Kyle Hirons in 50/50 (2011). He has also done a lot of voice over work in movies including Shrek the Third, Mantis in Kung Fu Panda (2008) & Kung Fu Panda 2 (2011) and B.O.B. in Monsters vs Aliens (2009).
