Christina Grimmie’s Family Releases One Final Tribute Video to the Murdered ‘Voice’ Star

In loving memory of the late Christina Grimmie who was shot ten days ago, her family has made a final tribute video in honor of her. Grimmie, a committed Christian and a contestant of the Voice, was murdered on June 10. She was laid to rest in a private service on Thursday. On Friday, her family also held a public memorial service for Grimmie, releasing this tribute video of the slain singer.
"Christina Grimmie was taken from all of us far too soon, but the impact she had on this world in the short 22 years of her life will carry on forever," the video description reads.
Before Christina Grimmie charmed America on Season 6 of The Voice, she was a YouTube star, regularly posting inspirational vlogs and videos of herself singing amazing covers. So it's only fitting that the final YouTube post to her account is a bittersweet tribute to her life.
The video also shows Grimmie signing autographs for fans, auditioning for The Voice, performing and having fun with friends and family. There's also a moment when we couldn't help but get a little misty-eyed when she says, "My goal in my career is to inspire people. [It's] to get my music out there and have people enjoy it and really think of me as an inspirational artist."
