Lauren Daigle To Appear On The Today Show August 2

Lauren Daigle had some exciting news to share - she will be appearing on The Today Show on August 2nd at 10AM! She also shared some of her experiences at the Bloom Conference, which was held in Hawaii earlier this summer.
"It was just beautiful! The culture of native Hawaiians is so intriguing to me. In many ways, it reminded me of how I grew up in south Louisiana. Everyone was so hospitable upon my arrival, and by the end of it, we were truly family. Friendships were made that I will treasure in my heart. Also, my adrenaline-junkie side was waiting to come alive while we rested on the island so, of course, I did the obvious... I WENT SKYDIVING!!! It was truly one of the best experiences of my entire life!"
Lauren's busy schedule also included the experience of joining 500,000 people gathering to pray at the National Mall for the nation.
"For such a time as this, it gave such a beautiful glimpse of how close heaven is and how the Body of Christ is empowered through unity. They will know we are Christians by our love. I just can't help but think of how sweet it is that Christ chose love over hate, love over rejection, love over ridicule, love over functionality, love over intelligence, love over opinion, love over all. He embodied love, and because of that, we now get to be the carriers of Love's light into all the world. We get to bring the change this world is craving by loving others more than ourselves. It's a gift I am so grateful for! We never have to lose hope in light of the world's circumstances because we are under a Kingdom that never goes array. We are children of the Most High King! In troubled times, we can look forward with hope and security because He has called us His own and made it possible for us to grow our family by loving the world around us- without pointing fingers but with seeing the world as Christ saw them- worth dying for! As you draw near to Him, He can't help but imprint His DNA of love into your heart so that you can be the carrier to those who need Him!"
Daigle, who is currently opening on the Hillsong UNITED Empires tour, will embark on her first headline tour, titled "A Night with Lauren Daigle," with special guest Chris McClarney, sponsored by CURE International, from October 12-29. Check out www.laurendaigle.com for tour dates (performances in Jackson, Mississippi on October 13; Centreville, Virginia on October 21; Lafayette, Louisiana on October 26; and Birmingham (Gardendale), Alabama on October 27 are already sold out). More shows will be announced next week.
Since her debut in 2015, Daigle has received a GRAMMY® nomination, one Billboard Music Award, three Dove Awards, and three K-LOVE Fan Awards. Her singles "How Can It Be" and "First" hit #1 on both iTunes' Christian Songs Chart and on the Christian Digital Tracks Chart. "Trust in You," which earned Daigle her first #1 single spot on Billboard's Hot Christian Songs chart in March 2016, held its top spot after 13 consecutive weeks and landed at the #1 position on the iTunes Christian Songs Chart and the Christian Digital Tracks Chart. "How Can It Be" has had more than 15 million views.
