Louis Tomlinson's Dedicates His New Song "Just Hold On" on X Factor to His Recently Deceased Mother

Former One Direction star, Louis Tomlinson, took to the Wembley Arena stage, to peform his debut solo single, 'Just Hold On', in collaboration with Steve Aoki during the X Factor final.
The star dedicated his performance to his late mother, Johannah Deakin, who sadly passed away from Leukaemia at the age of 43 on Wednesday night (December 7). It was said to be his mother's dying wish that he go ahead with his performance as planned.
It is not yet known whether the lyrics are about his mother's battle with leukaemia, but he sings:
"It's not over 'til your dying breath. What do you want them to say when you're gone? If you gave up or you kept going on."
"What do you do when a chapter ends? Do you close the book and never read it again?
"Where do you go when your story's done? You can be who you were or who you'll become. If all goes wrong, darling just hold on."
