Hillsong United Hit Song 'Oceans' Gets Cool Re-Make From The Digital Age, Watch Video Here (VIDEO)
The guys from the worship/electronic band, The Digital Age, have released another in their popular series of 'rehearsal' videos. The first one that introduced the new band to the world nearly two years ago was when they released their version of the song "All the Poor & Powerless" and their Rehearsals EP in June 2014. They have now decided to show their take on one of the biggest worship songs of the last year, Hillsong United's "Oceans (Where My Feet My Fail)."
The remake definitely puts the bands unique spin on it giving it a more ambient and electronic feel and using a vocoder on the vocals to give it the synth-type sound made popular by bands like Imogen Heap. You can watch their video and performance of the song above.
The song and video was recorded from live footage from their rehearsal studio in Waco, Texas. The song was mixed by Shane D Wilson at St. Izzy's of the East.
The Digital Age are a modern worship band hailing from Waco, TX. All four members: Mark Waldrop (guitar/vocals), Mike Dodson (bass/vocals), Jack Parker(guitar/vocals), Jeremy "B-Wack" Bush (drums) were apart of one of Christian music's most successful groups, The David Crowder Band.
The Digital Age released their first full length album entitled, Evening:Morning, on August 13th, 2013. They have spent much of the last year touring and connecting with their fanbase of new and old. To check out all of the latest news with The Digital Age, check out their official website HERE.
