On August 8th, the music world lost an icon. After a six-year bout with Alzheimer's disease, Glen Campbell passed away. All over the world, fans felt the lost of their hero. This has also caused fans to come out in droves to purchase and stream the Rhinestone Cowboy's music.
U.S. sales of Glen Campbell's music grew 5,429 percent in the two days following his death on Aug. 8, while streams of his songs increased by 1,430 percent, according to initial data reports to Nielsen Music.
Here's a look at Campbell's top 10 selling songs and on-demand streamed songs in the days immediately following his death:
