Earnest Pugh is Set to "Be the Glow" During Grammy Weekend
Although, he's not currently nominated for a Grammy® Award, one would think he was with all of the media rounds Earnest Pugh is making this week. The soulful singer's latest radio single, "Survive," a power ballad, zoomed to No. 16 on last week's Billboard Gospel Airplay chart and the AT&T-sponsored single, "Be The Glow," is close behind. The urban inspirational track featuring Pugh, Fantasia, Monica, Fred Hammond, Marvin Sapp and others is No. 32 for the week and rapidly closing in on the Top 30.
To further promote "Be The Glow," Pugh will join Grammy® winner, Fantasia; Monica; and writer/producer, Keith Williams, for a Pre-Grammy Party with Primary Wave on Saturday, January 27 @7 PM at Milk Studios, 450 West 15th Street, Suite #800, in New York City. WLIB midday host, Liz Black, will host the star-studded "Be The Glow" event.
Pugh will wrap the weekend with a special performance of "Survive" on the Bravo cable television network's reality series, "The Real Housewives of Atlanta." Pugh sang the song during a fundraiser for survivors of Hurricane Harvey and the show's cast was there to participate. Proceeds from the "Survive" single are donated to The Houston Mayor's Fund for Harvey.
