Laura Story Thanks God for Son Born without a Cleft Palate

GRAMMY® award winning artist, speaker, songwriter, author and worship leader Laura Story welcomes her fourth child into the world with a prayer of thanksgiving. Timothy William, who was born on March 21, did not arrive with a cleft palate despite doctors' predictions.
Story expressed gratitude that his palate was perfectly formed."Praising God for no cleft palate!!! #godanswersprayers," she wrote along with several photos of her three older children holding the baby.
"As I wait to meet with the doctor to hear more about baby Timothy's cleft lip and palette, I am reminded of what I read this morning in Psalm 33," she wrote. "If praise befits the upright, worry must befit those who don't know God or don't believe that He really is in control. God, give me the faith to choose faith over worry, trusting that my life (and Timothy's) is held securely in the palm of your hand."
Story has a gift for penning songs that connect with people all around the world. Among her successes as a solo artist with her smash hits "Mighty To Save" and "Blessings," Laura has also penned hit songs for other renowned artists including Chris Tomlin's "Indescribable." Her solo artist music debut in 2008 with Great God Who Saves led to four Dove nominations and the award for "Inspirational Album of the Year."
