As the Allies make their final push in the European Theater, a battle-hardened U.S. Army sergeant named Wardaddy (Brad Pitt) commands a Sherman tank called "Fury" and its five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Outnumbered and outgunned, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany.
Fury is directed and written by David Ayer. Shooting for the film began on September 30, 2013, in the Oxfordshire countryside. The Pinewood Studios sent warning letters to the villagers of Shirburn, Pyrton and Watlington that there would be some gunfire and explosions during the filming of Fury. The film will feature the last surviving operational Tiger I. The vehicle, known as Tiger 131, belongs to Bovington Tank Museum. It's the first time a real Tiger tank - and not a prop version - has been used on a film set.
