Lecrae Signs First-Ever Female Artist to Reach Records: Wande

Atlanta based independent label, Reach Records, announces Wande, the latest signee and first female emcee on the roster in the label's historic 15-year legacy with a brand new single. Explaining the weight of the moment Wande says, "I've been doing everything independently and now I have people behind me, so it takes a lot of pressure off my back. Now things can be done on a bigger scale."
Wande's signing announcement comes with much anticipation as many fans of the Reach Records label have been calling for a female artist. "We've been getting asked when we'd sign a woman at every [show, so we're happy to welcome her to the family tonight," said, fellow artist and label owner Lecrae, when introducing Wande for the first time to a sold-out Orlando, FL audience on the Unashamed Forever Tour.
"Blessed Up" is the first official release for the Texas bred, now Atlanta based emcee which she also announces today. The song features pounding 808's and crisp trap drums that highlight Wande's infectious cadences and undeniable bars. "The song is me pouring out my life and offering encouragement to listeners. I want to encourage in a low place where you feel broken and torn down, you can't stay there."
