Steffany Gretzinger Leaves Bethel Music After 10 Years

For the last 10 years, Steffany Gretzinger was a part of the Bethel Music family as a worship leader and songwriter. However, Gretzinger has announced that she will be leaving Bethel Music and her home church, Bethel. Over the years, she has authored worship songs such as "Pieces", "You Know Me", "Letting Go", "Be Still", "Steady Heart", "We Dance" and more.
"The rumors are true," Gretzinger recently shared on Instagram. "After 10 years, The Lord is sending us to Nashville, TN. It's been a long time coming, but we were in no way hurrying to leave this house, this home. Sunday night was the last set I will lead before we move, and I was sent out with blessing and prophesy and flowers. I am reminded once more how lavishly God honors our obedience."
The decision was not easy for Gretzinfer and it was laced with tears as well as joy. "It's not easy to leave THIS, but Jesus is the JOY ever set before me, and He is leading us out!!! We are SO excited!!! The fire always falls on sacrifice, and these fathers and mothers that surround me have given more than the world will ever know. Heaven only knows."
"Thank you for not only GIVING me room, but for MAKING me room to dance. Know that I love you deeply, and my gratitude is great. I've had several waves of ugly cries as that gratitude sweeps over me again and again for all the love and leadership over these years. And, I am sure you will only continue to lead us. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Transitioning VERY sure that I will always be a beloved daughter here, and that we will absolutely come back home as often as we can. ;) @bethel"
"This past weekend we blessed and sent off Steffany Gretzinger, who with her family has felt the call of God to Nashville," Bethel Church wrote on social media on April 26. "Steff, your faith to follow Jesus anywhere He takes you both in worship and in life has been a constant inspiration. You've demonstrated to a generation the freedom, joy, peace and purity that come when we abandon ourselves fully to Jesus."
Gretzinger grew up in a musical home and has been involved in worship ministry since she was a child. She is featured on albums including: Have it All, You Make Me Brave, Tides, For the Sake of the World, The Loft Sessions, and Be Lifted High. Her first solo album, The Undoing released August 2014.
"Blackout" - her highly anticipated sophomore album followed in March 2018.
