Taylor Swift New Album 2014 News, Says it's 'favorite thing I've ever created', Watch Interview Here (VIDEO)
Taylor Swift revealed that she is working on her new album during interviews last month while wrapping up the final leg of her hugely successful RED Tour in Aisa. You can watch a 5 minute clip of her morning TV press conference in Shanghai, China.
"I've already been working very hard on it and it's already my favorite thing that I've ever created. So the idea that after Asia, I get to go back and finish everything and get everything completely done and completely wrapped up for a new project, it's very exciting," the 24-year-old country singer shares.
This week's issue of Rolling Stone, has also reported that Swift is working on the new album. Big Machine Records label head Scott Borchetta revealed she's working with Martin on her fifth studio album with hit writer Max Martin who also helped on Red hits such as "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together". Martin has been working on "most of" the new album.
"Taylor fans are going to love it," said Borchetta. "Will country stations play a complete pop song because it's her? No. But when she comes to town, her friends at country radio will come and see her."
Fans have always appreciated how honest her songwriting has been and Taylor shares how she hopes that fans can connect to her lyrics because they have experienced the same things at some point as well. She is looking to continue her pop music trend away from country music with this new album.
Taylor Swift is one of the top selling artists of the last several years. She received a Best New Artist nomination at the 2008 Grammy Awards.
