Nichole Nordeman's New Christmas Album is Now Fully Funded!

Award-winning singer and songwriter Nichole Nordeman's Christmas album is now fully funded, thanks to her loyal supporters and fans. The new album will feature original songs as well as sacred Christmas carols. Nordeman has yet to set a release date for this festive offering.
With gratitude, Nordeman writes: "I cannot thank those of you who donated enough- and those of you who have sent words of encouragement my way. Your support has meant the world- let me say It again and again- THANK YOU!!"
Wasting no time, she is already recording the album. "I am currently in Los Angeles at the studio, and recording for the new album starts today. I am excited to be bringing some original Christmas songs to this album, as well as some of my most favorite and sacred songs about the Christ child."
This upcoming festive album is Nordeman's first independent album. She explains: "Now that my recording contract at my record label has ended, I am venturing out into the brave new waters of being an independent artist. I am sincerely grateful for the years of music and incredible relationships I have had, but I'm beyond excited for this new chapter, and to create new music."
Nordeman also recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of her debut album. "It has been 20 years since my first album, Wide Eyed. I pinch myself constantly that I still wake up every day and get to make music. My life looks different than I thought it would when I wrote that first album...so does my faith. So many of you have been on that journey with me since the beginning. THANK YOU!"
One of music's most respected singer-songwriters, Nichole Nordeman has sold more that 1 million albums, amassed four No. 1 songs and seven Top 5 radio singles including hits such as "Holy," "Legacy" and "Brave." She has twice been named GMA's Female Vocalist of the Year and is also a noted lyricist who has won 9 Dove Awards.
