Jennifer Hudson Delivers a Worshipful Version of "Hallelujah" at the Global Citizen Prize Award Ceremony

Jennifer Hudson delivered a worshipful version of "Hallelujah" at the Global Citizen Prize award ceremony on Dec. 13 at London's iconic Royal Albert Hall. Global Citizen is a social action platform for a global generation that aims to solve the world's biggest challenges, such as extreme poverty.
The award ceremony was aired on Friday, December 20th, at 8 p.m. ET on NBC in the US and Saturday, December 21st at 7 p.m. GMT on Sky TV in the United Kingdom. MSNBC will air the special on Sunday, December 22nd at 10 p.m. ET and re-air on Tuesday, December 31st at 11 p.m. ET in the U.S.
Other than Hudson, Sting, John Legend, Chris Martin, Jorja Smith, Raphael Saadiq, Stormzy and H.E.R. all performed at the ceremony. This year's recipients of Global Citizen Prizes include rock singer Sting, filmmaker Richard Curtis, Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations Amina J. Mohammed, and Chobani CEO and founder Hamdi Ulukaya.

"Their efforts are a testament to how the worlds of policy, business, the arts and entertainment can make a positive impact toward ending extreme poverty, tackling climate change and fighting inequality."
