'Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1' New Trailer #2 Released, Movie Opens Fall 2014 Starring Jennifer Lawrence, Watch Here (VIDEO)
The new movie The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 has just released it's second trailer teaser, which you can watch above. This is the second trailer featuring President Snow (Donald Sutherland) addressing the people of Panem. This time, Beetee (Jeffrey Wright) hacks into the address and tries to deliver his own message from about District 13.
The video caption reads "#OnePanem CITIZENS: Never have we been more unified as a nation... The Capitol and the districts are bound together in solidarity, striving to forge a stronger future. Join esteemed victors Peeta Mellark and Johanna Mason in their support of President Snow's Panem Address, "Unity," brought to you by Capitol TV in stunning 4K."
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 is a few months away from it's highly anticipated November 2014 release starring Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson).
While Lawrence has not been featured in the new teaser trailers, her role in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 is more vital than ever. This film will pick up immediately where the last film, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire left off. Katniss, is devastated to learn that her former home, District 12 of Panem, has been obliterated into ashes and her close friend and seemingly love interest, Peeta, has been taken captive by President Snow and the wicked forces of the nation's capitol. Katniss reluctantly becomes the beacon of hope and newfound leader of the rebel forces forming to wage war against the capitol - naming her as "The Mockingjay".
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 is directed by Francis Lawrence from a screenplay by Danny Strong and Peter Craig and produced by Nina Jacobson's Color Force in tandem with producer Jon Kilik. The novel on which the film is based is the third in a trilogy written by Suzanne Collins that has over 65 million copies in print in the U.S. alone.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 is set to release to theaters on November 21, 2014.
