Andrea Bocelli, Celine Dion, Lady Gaga and John Legend Team Up to Sing "The Prayer"

Celine Dion, Andrea Bocelli, John Legend, Lady Gaga and pianist Lang Lang came together to perform a virtual rendition of 'The Prayer', amid the coronavirus pandemic. The poignant performance took place on Saturday as part of the 'One World: Together At Home' online concert - a collaboration between Gaga (who also curated the event) and Global Citizen to raise money for the WHO's COVID-19 Response Fund.
Curated by Lady Gaga, "One World: Together at Home" was a massive 8-hour musical event that spanned multiple channels and streaming platforms. Organized by Global Citizen, the event was held in support of the global response to the coronavirus pandemic and raised funds to support frontline healthcare workers and the World Health Organization. Hosted by late-night show stars, Jimmy Fallon, Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel, the concert featured more than 100 artists from different genres over an eight-hour period.
The song was originally recorded by Dion in English and Bocelli in Italian for the soundtrack of the 1998 animated film "Quest for Camelot." Dion and Bocelli also did a duet version that appeared on their respective solo albums in 1999. "The Prayer" earned songwriters David Foster, Carole Bayer Sager, Alberto Testa and Tony Renis an Oscar nomination for best song in '99, and it won the Golden Globe in that category. (Dion subsequently released another duet version with Josh Groban).
