J. Crum & Jarry Manna Release New Video "Lost & Found"
Veteran emcee J. Crum has just released his brand new, self-produced single entitled Lost & Found featuring indietribe. member Jarry Manna. Lost & Found is about understanding our identity isn't in the things of this world.Though at times we feel lost, there is a place that we belong.
J. Crum shares, "I spent a lot of wasted time trying to fit in spaces that I had no business being in. I know I'm different and I'm ok with that. I now know where I belong and that's where I'm putting my effort and attention."
Here stands a man openly flawed and encumbered with life's immeasurable expectations, but he's also a devoted man of God striving for grace. Joshua Crum - just call him J. Crum - speed-raps his feverish words alongside echoing beats and riffs usually coupled with harder rock styles, and counters the intensity with smooth, lingering hooks. Detroit-born and Omaha-based Crum's inspirational tracks reflect a man bound to his faith, family and fans but with a grittiness churning through time and measures.
Crum's newest LP, VIGILANTES vol.1, is a nine-track narrative of struggle and triumph. Landing features from heavy hitters like nobigdyl. and Montythehokage goes to show that Crum can hang with the best of them and is here to stay. His versatility isn't lacking in his latest showing showing glimpses of his various influences including, Kid Cudi, Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole. This project seamlessly transitions through different genres as well including hip-hop, funk, lo-fi, and neo-soul. VIGILANTES vol. 1 might be Crum's most ambitious release to date and has something every listener can attach themselves to.
Crum is currently booking shows for 2020. Crum has opened up and performed with several national & mainstream acts including: Run The Jewels, Weezer, TV on the Radio, Hurray for the Riff Raff, Talib Kweli, Rakim, Mac Lethal, Lecrae, Manafest, AFRO, R.A. The Rugged Man, and more. He has also performed in major festivals such as: A3C in Atlanta, GA and SXSW in Austin, Texas.
Lost & Found is available on all streaming platforms.
