Mission Impossible 5: Tom Cruise Set to Begin Filing in London for Fifth Installment of Franchise
Tom Cruise, better known as Ethan Hunt is returning to the franchise: Mission Impossible for the fifth installment. It is set to premiere at a later date next year, probably around the Christmas season. The actor who is 51 will come back with his former director in Jack Reacher: Christopher McQuarrie because the pair worked rather extensively on action packed scenes before. According to the lead actor, they will be shooting a lot of scenes in London and have reportedly been given permission to shoot some of the scenes inside the parliament.
One can imagine the number of action scenes they would like to pull off inside the Parliament with Cruise featuring heavily in them. That would make the franchise, the second to be given allowance to film within the landmark. The Sun also reported that the actor will be headed to Tenerife to shoot some scenes before going to London. Apparently, there are a number of items that set to be filmed within the city including a motorbike chase down the Mall and a boat chase which is going to occur on the Thames. There is also going to be some work being done around the Emirates Cable Cars.
As for the cast, Mission impossible 5 should see the return of Simon Pegg and Jeremy Renner who will reprise their roles but there has also been talk of a female lead opposite to Tom Cruise, and the role has been offered to the A-lister, Jessica Chastain and she will play Tom's right hand role which is probably not just a personal assistant. The previous success with the last installment should give the fans enough anticipation as with the time with the release date. This is set to be one of the major films of 2015.
