Hillsong Worship, Meredith Andrews and GAWVI Go Spanish

God's vision of worship is that he longs for the people of every culture, language groups and cultures to worship him. Thankfully, Christian artists, such as Hillsong Worship, GAWVI, and Meredith Andrews, are taking this vision very seriously. All three acts have recently released worship records in Spanish!
Hillsong Worship has recorded and released a Spanish version of their latest single "Fresh Wind." Entitled "Viento Fresco," the song finds worship leader Brooke Ligertwood singing this Spirit-filled anthem in Spanish. Ligertwood writes: "We are excited to announce that the Spanish version of our song "Fresh Wind" is available now!"

GAWVI has recorded a full album in Spanish. Entitled Noche Juvenil, which translates to Youth Night, the songs capture the Latino Christian experience he and his friends wished for while growing up. Consistent with his aim to create a new sonic lane for Christian Music, GAWVI taps into his native culture to bring the change he desires to see in music and faith culture. This is evident in the newest track from this album, "Dicen," a psalm from GAWVI delivered as a worship song in which he vents to God, meanwhile giving him glory through tension.

Coming on may 21st, Meredith Andrews is also releasing a new all-Spanish album, Ábrenos Los Cielos. Meredith says of the project, "It has always been a dream of mine to record a Spanish album. I've had a passion for Central & Latin America all of my life and had the blessing of doing ministry, serving, and leading worship in many countries where Spanish is spoken. God's heart is for the nations - every tribe and every tongue - and I'm honored to release this collection of songs."
