Martin Smith Celebrates 27th Wedding Anniversary

Acclaimed worship artist, songwriter and producer Martin Smith and his wife Anna celebrate their 27th wedding anniversary today. Smith has been married to Anna since 1994. Anna is sister to Delirious?'s former bass player Jon Thatcher.
Both Martin and Anna founded CompassionArt, which raises money through art and music to help the poor around the world. The Smiths have six children, one of which is singer and songwriter Elle Limebear. The Martins live in the seaside village of Rustington, England.
"27 years ago I married the girl of my dreams!!" Smith wrote. "My sweet Anna...you are the love of my life.....To many more adventures together."

For three decades, the Brighton, U.K.-based Smith has been penning songs that bring fresh air to the lungs of the church, whether as a solo artist or a founding member of the ground-breaking band Delirious?. This includes favorites "Did You Feel The Mountains Tremble?," "Waiting Here For You," "I Could Sing Of Your Love Forever" and "History Maker." Smith's songs have connected generations and inspired and influenced worship leaders and worshippers alike.
