Roberts, “I want to perform it for you! The night will be myself and some amazing players sharing from this album...stories and songs.”
Roberts continues, “I'll be performing some favorites from the first album as well. It will be an acoustic set- a really unique way to get to experience this music. Be sure to post here or on my other pages any special requests you have!”
On Good Friday, Roberts shared the lyrics from her new song “Like Jesus loves,” saying, “can't wait to share this song with the world! Nobody Loves like Jesus Loves.”
Lyrics from the song “Like Jesus loves:”
His eyes take in all the glory of worlds
His voice holds power
His ears hear the sound of the songs the angels sing to him
Shout eternal praises
He left all of this just to give us a chance
To be closer to him and to know what love is
Put his feet on the ground that he made with his hand
He lived just to die, but he lives again
No road was too lonely
No cost too great
No distance too far for the reach of his grace
All he left behind
All he sacrifice for every soul throughout all time
Nobody loves like Jesus loves
We do our best to recount all his steps
To picture his face and learn what his word is
We fight against hell to live how he lived
The hope in our hearts is the life that he gives
No road was too lonely
No cost too great
No distance too far for the reach of his grace
All he left behind
All he sacrifice for every soul throughout all time
Nobody loves like Jesus loves
Come to him all who are broken
Come to him all who are searching
Cuase nobody loves like Jesus loves
I want to love like Jesus loves
