Arrow Season 3 Sneak Peeks, Exciting News, Rumors and Other Spoilers Straight From The Insiders
Exciting news, "Arrow" fans!
Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg has announced that Tommy Merlyn, (Colin Donnell), is in for two episodes in Season 3, appearing in one of Oliver Queen's flashbacks in Hong Kong. Another popular character from Season 2, Sara Lance/The Canary (Caity Lotz), will be in three episodes in the upcoming season.
"We'll be telling the story about how Tommy and Oliver just missed each other in Hong Kong," Kreisberg tells TVGuide.com. "It's a really amazing story and we're so excited to have Colin Donnell back. It's one of the advantages of the storytelling that we do that even when you die in the present day, you can still be alive in the flashbacks."
Characters from the series "The Flash" will also be dropping by as well.
New additions to the cast include Brandon Routh of "Superman Returns" fame. He takes on the role of Ray Palmer, also known as "The Atom." Fans will also get to see Peter Stormare of "22 Jump Street" as Vertigo, Karl Yune of "Real Steel" as Oliver's handler, and Devon Aoki of "Sin City" as Katana.
Based on the DC Comics character Green Arrow, the TV series was developed by writer-producers Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, and Andrew Kreisberg. "Arrow" premiered in 2012.
