Fast & Furious 7 Full Speed Ahead; Franchise Bids Paul Walker Goodbye

Get ready to rev up and go: the latest installment of the "The Fast and the Furious" franchise, "Fast & Furious 7," will be out in theaters in April 2015.
The movie series was inspired by a magazine article, "Racer X," which talked about Dominican street racer Rafael Estevez.
The current film's production was shelved after one of the film's stars, Paul Walker, died in a car crash in November 2013. Walker played LAPD undercover detective Brian O'Conner, who eventually gets involved in the underground street car racing scene.
The accident came before Walker was able to finish his scenes; his brothers, Caleb and Cody Walker, were asked to stand in as body doubles to finish the movie. The "Fast & Furious 7" team has assured fans that Walker's character will have a graceful exit.
"Fast & Furious 7" sees Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel), Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker) and the rest of the group returning to the US to lead a normal, uneventful life. Ian Shaw (Jason Statham) has other plans however: he plans to avenge the death of his brother Owen (Luke Evans in "Fast & Furious 6"), setting the scene for yet another high-octane adventure.
Aside from Diesel, Walker, and Statham, "Fast & Furious 7" also stars Michelle Rodriguez, Dwayne Johnson, Ronda Rousey, Lucas Black, Kurt Russell, Djimon Hounsou, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Tyrese Gibson, Tony Jaa, Brittney Alger, and Ludacris.
"Fast & Furious 7" is directed by Jan Wan, from the screenplay written by Chris Morgan.
