Colton Dixon Encourages Us to Step Out in Faith with "Build a Boat"

American Idol alum Colton Dixon encourages us to step out in faith with brand new single "Build a Boat." Written by Seth Mosley, Sandro Cavazza, Mikey Gormley, Johan Lindbrandt & Dixon, the song, along with a lyric video, is available at all DSPs today and will impact Christian radio on June 10.
Dixon shares, "This song is an anthem for anyone willing to stand up or step out for what they believe in. Just as Noah stepped out to construct an ark in the middle of a drought, faith can look a little crazy sometimes. I hope this song encourages you to go beyond what's comfortable to experience the reward waiting on the other side of crazy faith."
I will build a boat in the sand where they say it never rains
I will stand up in faith, I'll do anything it takes
With Your wind in my sails, Your love never fails or fades
I'll build a boat in the desert place
And when the flood and the water starts to rise, yeah
I'll ride the storm 'cause I got You by my side
With Your wind in my sails, Your love never fails or fades
I'll build a boat, so let it rain
