Sunday Best Season 5 Winner Joshua Rogers' "Still Gon Trust" Sits on #1

Sunday Best Season 5 Winner Joshua Rogers captures the top spot on the BDS Gospel airplay chart for a second week with the song "Still Gon Trust." The heartfelt ballad has been a source of inspiration and encouragement to the masses as it speaks of an abiding faith in God despite the series of events that have shaped our world as we know it.
"This song has such a powerful message that the world needed to hear at this time," says Mixed Bag Entertainment CEO Gary Crockett.
"Every day we are faced with unprecedented struggles and challenges. Covid, food shortages, inflation, gun violence across the nation, it seems never ending. In spite of it all, Luscious Hoskins and Percy Bady came up with a song and Joshua Rogers interpreted that song, and people took a listen to the song, and it brought people hope, now, here we are."
Rogers expressed his gratitude, "I am just glad to be able to have a chance to make music that inspires people. This is definitely nothing that I could have done on my own, so I have to give credit to the amazing Luscious and Percy songwriting team, to Gary and everyone at the label for their hard work, to the people who keep me moving and on the go every week, to Tracy and her amazing radio team, to every radio programmer, DJ, church and of course the people who listen and buy and stream music."
Rogers will deliver his message of hope at various concert venues and outdoor festivals throughout the summer.
