Natalie Grant, Brett Young and Rhonda Vincent to Appear on PBS Concert
Natalie Grant, Brett Young and Rhonda Vincent will be joining the American Pops Orchestra for this year's national PBS concert, "United in Song."
Hosted by Renée Fleming, the TV special features a star-studded line-up including Chris Jackson, Matt Doyle, Mandy Gonzalez, Jacqueline Schwab, and more. The American Pops Orchestra conducted by Luke Frazier, features a newly commissioned performance by New York City Ballet Principal Dancer Tiler Peck, and Soloist Roman Mejia.
This special highlights three historic theaters: People's Bank Theater in Marietta, OH, built in 1911 and recently restored; the 87-year-old Earl and Rachel Smith Strand Theatre in Marietta, GA; and in Idaho, Boise's premiere historical theatre, The Egyptian Theatre. Joining the cast of stars from stage and screen include three regional, collegiate choirs: Boise State University Meistersingers, led by Dr. C. Michael Porter; Ohio University Singers, led by Dr. Bradley Naylor; Spelman College Glee Club, led by Dr. Kevin P. Johnson.
It will stream simultaneously with broadcast and be available on all station-branded PBS platforms, including PBS.org and the PBS Video App, available on iOS, Android, Roku streaming devices, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Samsung Smart TV, and Chromecast.
