Here Are the Lyrics to Big Daddy Weave's "Heaven Changes Everything"

Big Daddy Weave's new single "Heaven Changes Everything" is available now (listen HERE). "Heaven Changes Everything" follows Big Daddy Weave's chart-topping collaboration with rising star Katy Nichole, "God Is In This Story," which held the No. 1 spot for three weeks. The fresh track was written by Big Daddy Weave front man Mike Weaver, with Matthew West and Jeff Pardo, while Big Daddy Weave's Jeremy Redmon produced the track in collaboration with Pardo.
"I was at an all-time low after losing my father, my mother, and then my brother Jay, who played bass in Big Daddy Weave," shares Big Daddy Weave front man Mike Weaver. "Then the thought came to me, 'What is it like for someone who doesn't know about heaven?' Because we have the hope of heaven, and because Jesus said heaven is right here inside of our hearts, it changes everything about the way we see life now and the way we see life in the future. I love that when I think about heaven, everything shifts and is put into perspective. I'm so thankful that heaven changes everything."
[Verse 1]
These tears would just be tears fallin' down my face
And this hurt would just be hurt with no healing on the way
Thank You, Jesus, Heaven changes everything
[Verse 2]
A goodbye would be goodbye with no "I'll see you again"
And when a life is over, that would simply be the end
Thank You, Jesus, Heaven changes everything
[Chorus]
In the light of eternity, I have this hope
You hold my heart and I'm never alone
One day, You're comin' back, one day, I'm comin' home
Thank You, Jesus, Heaven changes everything
[Post-Chorus]
Ooh, everything
[Verse 3]
My questions would stay questions, no answers to be found
And all the times I've fallen, I'd still be there on the ground
Thank You, Jesus, oh
[Verse 4]
I can live for the day when my eyes will finally see
Every piece that was broken, restored and redeemed
Thank You, Jesus, Heaven changes everything
[Chorus]
In the light of eternity, I have this hope
You hold my heart and I'm never alone
One day, You're comin' back, one day, I'm comin' home
Thank You, Jesus, Heaven changes everything
[Post-Chorus]
Everything
[Bridge]
The way that I love, the way that I live
The way I let go and choose to forgive
The peace in this pain, the hope in this grief
The beauty beyond this, I have to believe
I can't see what You see, but I know that I know
This world's where I am, but this world's not my home
[Chorus]
In the light of eternity, I have this hope
You hold my heart and I'm never alone
One day, You're comin' back, one day, I'm comin' home
Thank You, Jesus, Heaven changes everything
[Outro]
Everything
Heaven changes everything
Everything
Heaven changes everything
