Manafest Reminds Us of the Power of Words with His New Album

Manafest's new album, Words Are Weapons, will be released on July 21st. Featuring 10 new songs, Manafest hopes these new songs will impart words of faith and hope into the lives of his listeners. You can pre-order the album HERE.
The Canadian rapper writes,"Growing up I felt the string of hate-filled words. I heard, `Chris you're a loser, a failure, not good, you suck, your fat.' Yes, your boy Manafest was overweight & reminded of it daily by schoolmates. Those words didn't break my bones but they shattered my dreams. It took years to pick myself up and try again.
"How did I do it? Be hearing faith filled `WORDS'. But I had to learn how to `Turn Back On My Dream Machine.' That's what I want this album to do for you. Words have the power of life and death. This time they spoke life into me... and shaped the man I am today.
That's why I can say to you "Do It Afraid"? That's why I call to the Champion inside of you!"
Manafest, also known as Christopher Scott Greenwood, is a Canadian Christian rapper and rock artist from Pickering, Ontario, Canada. He has won multiple awards for the GMA Canada Covenant Awards, GMA Dove Awards, and has been nominated for multiple Juno Awards. Signed for a decade with BEC Recordings, Manafest became independent in 2015.
